Morning Has Broken...Somebody Fix it
Hi there!
I haven't died. At least I don't think so. I've retired the knitting needles for the last few months to pick up reading in my spare time. Spare time? Yeah, that means going to bed at 8:00 and reading until I fall asleep. Sad.
Anyway I've focused my vacation from knitting and my interest in learning to better myself. My latest reads: "A New Earth" Eckhart Tolle, "The Secret" Rhonda Byrnes, "Ask and it is Given" (I forget the author). I also got into "The Living Experiment" and "The Science of Success", but I didn't like either of those.
I'm currently re-reading "A New Earth" A.) Because I like it so much & B.) It's a deep read and I'm getting more out of it each time.
I've also started a Cattleya Orchid Addiction. My addiction is defined by evening hours lusting over Cattleya Orchid Auctions on eBay but rarely actually buying anything. That said, I had one Orchid delivered April 19th and I have three more coming May 10th (from the same grower.) Each specimen is in a 5" pot and they threw the 4th one in free. Long story short, instead of paying $49.99 per plant from the shop I work at, I paid $11 per plant (including shipping.) Thank you eBay.

'Hawaiian Passion' Delivered Apr. 19th

'New City' Coming May 10th

'Long River Compton' Coming May 10th
On the Knitting Front, I have picked up the needles again to make 2 Monkeys for my God-Son who is coming July 10th. It's slow-going but will be well worth it!
That's all for now!
